3-ACT STRUCTURE

The 3-ACT structure is a simple but effective and widely used method for story telling. It consists of the Setup, Confrontation, and Resolution; all inside of ACT 1, ACT 2, and ACT 3. The main character must have a call to adventure and several obstacles in between with climaxes leading to a final big climax and after falling action to let the viewer/reader take a moment to breather, relax, and take everything in.
