THE SOUND OF GRAVITY

When creating the soundscape of the movie Gravity the filmmakers focused on the fact that there is no sound in in space, the atmosphere and vibrations the are given off instead of sound, and using foley to recreate the sounds that match the visuals. These are all important because they contribute to the soundscape of the overall movie and add to its realism in space.
